The Rev. Wendy J Anderson, Pastor
Pastor Anderson has been a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) since 2005. She came to Nativity in 2017 after serving a small rural congregation in Albert Lea, MN for 12 years.
Pastor Anderson loves connecting faith to daily life and encouraging folks to share God's love in as many ways as they can. She is passionate about social justice, good worship of many styles, and all the things we can learn from Jesus. Before attending the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago to become a pastor, she served as Director of Youth and Family Ministry in a suburban Boston congregation. And before that she managed a Thoroughbred racehorse breeding farm in Rhode Island for 12 years. She lives in Thomaston with her Labrador Retrievers Anna and Junia, and her ancient cat Phoebe. In her spare time, she enjoys most things outdoors especially boating and camping. |
