Common Questions

- Common Questions if you hope to visit -
How is Holy Communion distributed at Nativity?
  • We offer Holy Communion every Sunday.  Ushers invite people to go forward to stand along the altar platform.
  • People eat and drink when served. When all have been served, Pastor dismisses them with a blessing.  They return to their seats along the side aisles and the next group rise from their rows and go forward along the center aisle.

I’ve never had Holy Communion before.  What if I’m not sure I want to do that?
  • Communion is an individual decision.  People can choose to stay in their seats when their row is invited forward.
Where should we park?
  • Two parking lots, left and right of the building.  Come in any door.  There will be signs directing you.
Do we need to dress up?
  • No. Unless you want to. Most people choose casual dress.
Is there a chance to meet people after the service?
  • Absolutely.  The coffee hour is right outside the door to the sanctuary.  Expect a wide variety of goodies from week to week.  People will introduce themselves, introduce you to others, and be clearly happy to meet you.

Where are the restrooms?
  • Men’s and women’s restrooms are ahead and to the right when you leave the sanctuary.
Another restroom is entered through the meeting room.
